What is StateFeud?

Every day, millions of Americans argue about whether blue states or red states are winning. Home prices, rent, gas, jobs, who's moving where. Almost none of them have anything riding on it.

StateFeud keeps score with something better than vibes: real prediction markets. Every number on this site is the live price of an event contract traded on Kalshi, a CFTC-regulated US exchange. When traders think California gas stays painful, that's a price. When they think Texas home values keep climbing, that's a price too.

How to read the numbers

Every card shows one question and the market's live probability that the answer is yes, meaning the midpoint of what real buyers and sellers are paying right now. Head-to-head cards show each side's odds of "winning" its own market, where winning means costs going down (gas, rent, power) and wealth and people going up (home values, population, jobs).

Think the odds are wrong?

Good, that's the point. Every card links to the actual market. If you think the traders are underrating your side, you can take the other side of the bet with real money, on a regulated exchange. Put your money where your mouth is.

The fine print

StateFeud is an independent media site. We are not affiliated with Kalshi, we do not accept deposits, execute trades, or provide investment advice. Odds shown are bid/ask midpoints and can move at any time. Event-contract trading involves risk. You can lose what you put in. 18+.
